2025 was the most challenging time in RESULTS’ 45-year history. The attacks on lifesaving foreign aid programs and the abrupt dismantling of USAID set back the tremendous progress the world has made in reducing preventable deaths. The most vulnerable people around the world are paying the price. With the passage of the “One Big Beautiful Bill Act” (OBBBA), some 20 million people in the U.S. could lose health care from Medicaid and food assistance from the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP).
