FY11 Update: Another CR Until April 8

Congress passed another continuing resolution that will fund the goverment through April 8. It cuts $6 billion in spending.There are no cuts to foreign aid, but the threat is still very real we will see cuts during the next round of negotiations for finalizing FY11.

Action #1: Call Congress
Please keep making calls and urging your members of Congress to oppose cuts to foreign aid! Use our action alert to help you.

Action #2: Get Media

We’ve been receiving some great media from the U.S. and around the world in step with RESULTS Executive Director Joanne Carter’s Huffington Post article “Cuts That Kill,” calling for Congress not to cut essential foreign aid spending. Try to get an editorial, op-ed, or LTE published. Review our editorial packet and send it to your editors.
